Tasting notes
Very fresh and harmonious with aromas of ripe apples, pears, elderflower, quinces and peaches. A subtle herbal note and the minerality typical of the Mosel make this seemingly dry wine extremely appealing and refreshing.
Food pairing
The perfect non-alcoholic, uncomplicated wine for every day, accompanying light salads as well as seafood, white meat dishes, risottos, pasta and Asian dishes. An excellent wine to simply relax alcohol-free or to have a nice conversation with friends.
Processing and ageing
The 100% Riesling grapes were grown according to the wishes of our oenologist and selectively harvested. After gentle pressing, the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks. De-alcoholisation then takes place at the highest quality level.
Growing region and climate
Winegrowing in the Mosel region is characterised by its unique landscape. The character of the growing regions is shaped by the special geological, topographical and microclimatic interplay. The grapes for this Kabinett come from the two vineyards of Bernkasteler Johannesbrünnchen and Bernkasteler Schlossberg of the Wwe. Dr. H. Thanisch Erben Müller-Burggraef winery. The Mosel climate is one of the warmest in Germany, and due to its proximity to the river, excellent conditions for viticulture are found here. The slate soils of the steep, sun-drenched slopes store the heat and release it to the vines at night, largely preventing frost.
